an awesome Victorian
tortoise shell heart pin with an operculum center. This shell is
from the "Turban Snail," and is also called "Pacific Cat Eye." It was
believed that they were capable of warding off evil. Sometimes
it is called the Evil Eye. This pin/brooch measures 1-1/2 inches in width, 1-1/2
inches in
